Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Sophia, and I am a fourth-year transfer student majoring in communication. During my free time after classes, I tutor high school students, go to the beach, and love singing and learning guitar! 

Advice to Transfers: You have a limited amount of time as a transfer student at UCSB to make the most of your college experience. However, having finished my first year here, the best advice I can give is to put yourself out there and join everything that interests you. Meeting new people can be intimidating, but it's really worth it when you meet some of your closest friends, who you can share your UCSB experience with. It is truly the best place to be!
