Campus Involvement: Everything, next question. Seriously, I dabbled in as much as I could. Being engaged is how you find where you should be. I was in everything from the Honor Society to Women in STEM to Student Government. Eventually, you find your people and where home is!
Bio: I hold two bachelor's degrees, Asian American Studies and East Asian Studies, with a minor in Korean Literature and Cultures, as well as a master's degree in Asian American Studies. I worked on research exploring multiculturalism in South Korea from the Afro-Asian perspective. I completed a documentary titled “The Love Between Us Project.” My project focused on Afro-Asian connections through familial ties. I enjoy reading, exercising, exploring new beaches, traveling, and spending time with family.

Remember these three truths: 1) you are not an imposter, 2) you earned your spot, and 3) there is space for you at UC Santa Barbara! Rooting for you, always! -Christmas
