Bio: Hi all! I'm currently pursuing a BA in Communications. I'm hoping to do something that positively impacts the environment and others with this degree, whether that be involving environmental communication or future counseling. In all honesty I'm still uncertain, but that's okay, life's unpredictable! This summer I spent two months working in Southeast Alaska as a naturalist guide where I immersed myself in an exceptionally unique and dynamic environment. I have a strong connection to nature and believe it's important to acknowledge the interconnectedness between us all. Don't hesitate to say hi or ask any questions if you see me out and about!   

Advice for Transfers: Embrace the unknown and uncertainty of the journey you're about to embark on because there's so much to learn from it! It would be concerning if you weren't a little nervous starting this new chapter of life. It goes by quickly, ask for help when needed, be authentic to yourself, strive to form meaningful connections with your peers, do the things you enjoy, be curious about your passions and explore new ones! It's easy to get caught up in the rush of life (these 2 years go by quickly), don't forget to slow down and do something that helps you re-ground yourself.
