Bio: Hey there! I’m Alex, and I’m actually still figuring out exactly what I want to do with my Economics degree. I do know that I’m drawn to work that helps people, whether that’s through programming or something I haven’t discovered yet. Since transferring, I’ve kept the same motivation of getting involved with different programs while learning to balance it all as a full-time student! Outside of school, I’m into doing random creative projects, learning new things, and trying new foods. 

Advice to Transfers: Don’t let the shorter timeframe stop you from getting involved. I know what it’s like to feel like you're jumping in halfway through someone else’s college experience, but there is a space for you here. You just have to be the one to take that first step. If you want to join a club, go to an event, or just introduce yourself to someone in class, do it because it all adds up. I’ve found that the more I put myself out there, the more this place started to feel like it was mine too.
