Peer Educator (2021-2022)

Bio

Arianna is a second year transfer student from Ohlone College which is located in Fremont,CA. At Ohlone College, she served as a Peer Mentor, helping the current and incoming students adjust to community college and as well as helping them achieve their  academic goals. She is currently pursuing her B.S. in Environmental Studies and plans on being an environmental science teacher for high school students ( or at least for the moment). In her spare time she enjoys rewatching Gilmore Girls for the 100th time ( Team Jess!), practicing yoga, watching Premier League soccer with her sister, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Advice for Transfers: To not feel as if you have to achieve everything at once. Taking time for yourself to recharge is as important as achieving our goals in life. Just remember that you are exactly where you need to be at this given moment, enjoy and live in the  present, instead of always worrying about the future. Lastly, don't forget to enjoy your time at UCSB, you got this :)
