Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment and accepting our experience as it is instead of engaging in our habitual pattern of judging. It is a simple practice, but also challenging, profound, and transformative. In these 4 drop-in workshops, you will learn different mindfulness practices and how to integrate them into your daily life to reduce stress and improve present-moment awareness.
· Week 3: January 25th, 3pm-4pm, Introduction to Mindfulness
· Week 5: February 8th, 3pm-4pm, Improve your attention with mindfulness of breath
· Week 7: February 22nd, 3pm-4pm, Turn off automatic pilot: Mindfulness in daily life.
· Week 9: March 8th, 12pm-1pm, Using Mindfulness to manage final exam stress
